Sit Dance Create


In my mid 40s I started waking up depressed. I tried going to the gym, tried therapy, medications... all helped some, but not a lot. Both my sister and mother were depressed. Waking up down, just seemed to be life for the women in my family. 

I have been meditating since 1971 and started experimenting with how meditation and dancing could help my moods. Eventually I found the sweet spot. For the past 25 years I have meditated for 20 minutes and danced for 10. The combination each morning has made a huge difference in my life. I still wake up on the depressed side, but in just 30 minutes I uplift by mood by 25-30% - Every time! That means everything I do for the day is from a happy mood instead of a depressed one.

I SIT to get clarity
I DANCE to uplift my mood
I CREATE to make my life more enjoyable
